Audio and Video
1. I am having trouble watching the video. What can I do?
Firewall software and security settings
Firewall software, security settings and security products may be blocking the stream.
Many firewall or security products protect you from attack or spam by blocking these
attempted attacks. Some of these products also block 'pop-up windows'.
To watch the live stream you will need to allow pop-ups from the following URLs:
- horseracing.bigpond.com
- www.streamingcentral.net.au
You may need to change the way your firewall or security product reacts to 'video'
and allow these pop-ups and video to get through.
If you have further difficulties accessing this service and you are using any security
products or have changed the security settings on your browser software you may
need to contact the software manufactures or use the help sections provided.
If you are attempting to access this service from your office you may need to contact
your system administrator for further assistance.

Picture or audio keeps dropping out
The audio or picture quality can deteriorate or drop out when there is not enough
data passing between the media player and server to maintain a connection.
These interruptions generally occur when there is high traffic or large numbers
of users on the internet.
These periods may last for a short time – so try the following to see if your connection
improves:
- close down the media player and reconnect to the files again.
- shut down any extra programs (including mail and instant messenger) that you may
have running on your PC while you are trying to access streaming video.
- check your computer setup and media player settings are as per the instructions
below.
2. Why does watching the broadband video stream seem later than the live race?
Due to the time taken to encode the stream and transfer it onto the internet, the
live broadcast may be slightly delayed. This delay is generally less than one minute.

3. Can I enlarge the video to fill the entire computer screen?
At the moment the video is locked into that aspect ratio so maximising the size
of the screen will result in a loss of quality of the video (picture will heavily
pixelate).
We are currently looking at ways to improve the picture quality and video screen
size in the future.

will not contribute towards your usage.
For BigPond satellite customers, at this stage we are unable to unmeter all of the
horse racing site.
For anything else you use on the Site will contribute towards your usage. Accordingly
you should monitor your use of the Site against your monthly usage to ensure you
do not go over your limit.

Changes
1. Changes to racing coverage on BigPond Racing
As of May 2006, TVN and Sky Channel have come to an agreement. TVN will continue
to deliver a premium thoroughbred racing channel, with expanded content.
BigPond will contiue to simulcast the TVN coverage and provide race replays of Sydney
and Victorian racing. BigPond does not have the rights to provide race replays of
all races available on TVN and are working to rectify this situation in the near
future.
